COPA Chairman Jun Peñaranda and Trustee Ivi Glinoga visited Bishop Ruben C. Labajo of the Diocese of Prosperidad in Bayugan Agusan del Sur, as part of COPA’s efforts to deepen relationships with mission partner dioceses. The Diocese of Prosperidad is the country’s newest diocese and covers the province of Agusan del Sur, considered a “missionary frontier” with one-third of its population being indigenous peoples. COPA has six mission partners in the diocese: the St. Aloysius and Our Lady of Guadalupe parishes, the San Juan Mission Station, the Diocesan Commissions on Youth and Social Action and the Sacred Heart School for Lumads.
